Will I receive my audio book files by email?
No, they’re too large to send by email. At the end of the checkout process, there’s a link to “Complete Purchase”. This takes you to page where you can download the files.

You’ll also receive an email with a link to the download page.

Do you send the audio book CDs by post?
Sorry, we can only supply audiobooks as downloads.

How can I play the audio book files?
The iPod/iPhone (M4b) files will play via iTunes on your PC & Macintosh, or on an iPod, iPhone or iPad  (and remember where you’ve got to). MP3 files will play on an MP3 player or via Windows Media Player on a PC.

Please note, to play the audio book files on an iPod, iPhone or iPad, you must first download them to your Mac or PC and then transfer them to your player via iTunes.

How do I download the audio book files?
At the end of the checkout process, there’s a link to “Complete Purchase”. This takes you to page where you can download the files – simply click on the links and the files will download to your Mac or PC.

You’ll also receive an email with a link to the download page.

How do I install the files ready to play? 3 Simple Steps for Mac or PC

• Click on one of the links on the download page and save the file (note where you’ve downloaded it so you can find it later).
• Unzip/unpack the Zip file archive (this is different on Mac or PC, but is usually done by double clicking on the .Zip file).
• Launch iTunes. From the File Menu, select Add to Library – browse and add the downloaded files (‘Add to Folder’ – PC Only – will add them all in one go) OR for Macs, you can do that or simply drag and drop the files to the iTunes window.

Files will appear under the Books section in iTunes and can be listened to from there or transferred to your iPod/iPhone/iPad etc.

How will the charge show on my credit card?
Please note, your Credit Card or PayPal statement will show the charge as from “PAYPAL *LT AUDIOBKS”

Now that I’ve bought the audio book, can I share it with others?
Sorry, you’ve purchased the audio book for your personal use and the files should not be passed on to others. To do so or to distribute these files including via filesharing sites is illegal and a breach of copyright – plus it takes funds which would otherwise be invested in creating great new audio book titles. However, see the next question.

Can I buy a copy for a friend?
Yes, of course, simple change the amount when you’ve placed the item in your shopping cart and click Update. You are then allowed to make as many copies as you’ve purchased to give to friends, but no more (NB most books will fit on a single data CD). Making more copies than you’ve purchased is illegal and a breach of copyright.
